Soul Eater Episode 18 Review
Finally, shit is picking up in Soul Eater 18. Well, you knew it was coming, but I really hate having to doze through all the typical progression tripe, especially when none of it is that novel in terms of actual content.
Just from my reading on wikipedia, there seems to be a chunk of character development missing, particularly between Medusa and Stein. That was something I was actually looking forward to.
The big ball kicker for Soul Eater 18 is that the previous Kishin was never actually destroyed, merely sealed, by the full presence of Shinigami-sama.
Of course, Soul Eater 18 puts a new spin on Medusa’s objectives. You would expect that Snake Bitch is trying to recreate the Kishin, from Crona and Ragnarok. But if she’s going to free the original Kishin, then…why the hell is she going to all the trouble with Crona and experiments in the first place. I’m sure the answer will pop up eventually.
Either way, the season finale is shaping up to be something we can all enjoy anticipating.
