Site Status and Shit

Yeah, recently I haven’t been posting much. So here’s a rough update, in case you care.

Writing each episode blog post seems to take more time than the other shit I blog about, but recently I’ve come to the realization that people seem to want to relive episodes of anime through more or less a direct summary. That boggles my mind and is something I absolutely refuse to do. Why would you want to watch an episode and then re-experience the exact same thing through words? Jesus, get something of a life. Yet that seems to be the case for the majority of people who watch anime and then read anime reviews. Whatever.

I don’t really mind continuing blogging for this site, as it serves more than one experimental purpose (Medusa has got nothing on us). Regardless, the other founder for this site (who has never posted a single thing) and myself have been discussing an overhaul. We are very well aware that we need a new layout and art, but as neither of us are artists or can draw worth shit that presents something of a challenge. We’re working on it though. Be ready for stick figures with boobs.

As it is, I’ve been considering a new approach to review/blogging; however the current site cannot support the format I want to try. We’ll see if we can get something up in the near future. You might be glad to hear we are also considering putting up direct download links, though a bit of assiduous searching on Google could probably provide you the same.

Both of us are lazy and huge procrastinators though. We’ve refined it to an art form, so don’t expect anything soon. It’ll get done, sometime in the next decade.
