Vampire Knight Episode 13 Review

July 01st, 2008 | Category: Vampire Knight

Final episode of the first season of the Vampire Knight anime is out, and honestly this series left something to be desired. It started out slightly above what you would expect but quickly degenerated into the typical love triangle drama crap. Vampire Knight episode 13 only hints at the real story, with Shizuka being nothing more than a camel hump.

Vampire Knight Episode 10 Review

June 11th, 2008 | Category: Vampire Knight

Remarkably quickly, Maria/Shizuka and her part as the primary antagonist is revealed. They didn’t really do that good of a job at concealing her identity in the first place; in truth, I don’t think they even tried. The entire sequence of events unfolding just felt very unevenly paced. Vampire Knight episode 10 really inducts the main antagonist to the story, and adds a twist to the plot by bringing in Ichiru, Zero’s brother.

Vampire Knight Episode 8 Review

May 27th, 2008 | Category: Vampire Knight

I don’t know if all anime’s tend to get a little dull around 7-8th episode point. It certainly feels like that this season. It’s why I haven’t been bothering keeping up with posts. Vampire Knight Episode 5 Review

May 07th, 2008 | Category: Vampire Knight

The entire feel of the Vampire Knight anime has a very gothic feel, which I rather appreciate. What I do not like is the porcelain doll face that each and every one of them seems to sport. Neither Zero nor Kaname really have expressions, in fact the only person in the anime that seems to consistently express emotions is Yuuki. Every single one of them are like freaking Aes Sedai or Aiel or something.

Vampire Knight Episode 3 Review

April 24th, 2008 | Category: Vampire Knight

I did not bother reviewing the first two episodes of Vampire Knight because they were boring. It was just the usual setup of an anime drama series. Finally, something happens in this show other than crowds of girls swooning over the vampire dudes, Zero shaking like an addict without his fix, and Yuuki running around showing some leg. Vampire Knight episode 3 finally starts giving this anime some depth and color as well as moving right along into what will likely be the first major conflict of the story. Read more
