Soul Eater Episode 6 Review

May 14th, 2008 Soul Eater by Clave

Soul Eater episode 6 really puts a few things in perspective. Kid is actually pretty badass despite the really lame neurotic gags that they constantly use him for. You really don’t see the family resemblance between him and the Grim Reaper.

Black Star’s egotism knows no bounds. In fact, it actually reached new bounds as he claimed the status of godhood. Poor Tsubaki. I’ve been wondering what else she could change into.

Most of Soul Eater episode 6 is just Soul and Black Star getting their asses handed to them by Kid. It ends with Kid pulling out a limit break that somewhat resembles Dante’s demon guns. They end the fight with some stupid gag about lack of symmetry again.

A sinister element of Maka not being able to see the Grim Reaper’s soul is thrown in at the very end. This is probably foretelling something, although what I have no idea.

Soul Eater episode 6 is really a reiteration and additional explanation of the importance of soul compatibility between the Meister and the weapon.

@ BleicKz Ah I didn’t realize it was supposed to be his soul the first time I saw it. I thought it was just some kind of barrier or something.

It’s been a while since I visited the site after its debut. Kudos on the images.
