Code Geass R2 Episode 3 Review

April 20th, 2008 Code Geass R2 by Clave

So Code Geass R2 episode 3 has a couple points of fail.

First: no bunny suit. Kallen didn’t have to be the one wearing it. C.C. would have been acceptable.

Second: cliffhanger ending. Again.

As much as I like this anime, Code Geass R2 episode 3 once again reminded me of the insane burst of rage I went through at the end of the first season. It ends with another cliffhanger, and I’m getting tired of being left in high anticipation for what is about to happen next. I realize that Code Geass R2 is not exceptional in doing this, but the first season ending really really ticked me off. I am still smarting over that.

I watch anime to be instantaneously gratified. I don’t have to think too hard about it, and I do not really have to do anything for it. Most of the time I enjoy each episode as it comes. Code Geass R2 is an amazing piece of work so far. But as of this moment I am pissed, and I don’t feel like I need a rational justification for this. That and I hate Suzaku.

Regardless Code Geass R2 episode 3 is great. About thirty seconds into the episode, I was completely absorbed. Now I’m just going to stand outside and wait for the crack dealer to come by.
