Code Geass R2 Episode 12 Review

June 29th, 2008 | Category: Code Geass R2

I never really thought about it this way, but if Lelouch were not so hell bent on destroying Britannia he could be getting a shitload of pussy with the Geass. Hell, even without the Geass, he could get all the action he wanted. Code Geass R2 episode 12 was a large assortment of gags with just enough story progression thrown in to make you antsy. And btw, has anyone noticed that only complete flunkies for characters stay dead in this anime?

Kanokon Episode 12 Review

June 24th, 2008 | Category: Kanokon

Kanokon episode 12 concludes this foxy anime in an expected manner, a shitty one. This anime sucked balls. It had some minor moments of amusement, but it really wasn’t worth the pain. If you’re into furries, hentai, and the usual emo shit you might have gotten something out of it, but anyone slightly less perverse…eh.

Code Geass R2 Episode 11 Review

June 22nd, 2008 | Category: Code Geass R2

Code Geass R2 episode 11 was an interesting amalgamate of action, human drama, and comedy that made it better than a mixed berry yogurt smoothie. Toss in some real story progression and C.C. and you get an episode that somewhat redeems Code Geass R2 as a series so far. Bear with me, this will be relatively long.

Soul Eater Episode 11 Review

June 19th, 2008 | Category: Soul Eater

We continue where we left off with Soul Eater episode 11 with Tsubaki waging a war of the souls with her older brother, the Fey Blade Masamune. The Fey Blade Masamune has all the usual emo, world-hating, self-esteem issues one would expect to find in such a character. Tsubaki wins (duh) and levels up.

Itazura na Kiss Episode 11 Review

June 17th, 2008 | Category: Itazura na Kiss

I haven’t covered much of Itazura na Kiss lately since they entered college largely because I feel like the show took a turn for the worse, going from above average to falling into the usual abyss of cess, kiddy porn, and other bad dramas. Okay, maybe not quite that bad, but close. I was given to understand that the intended ending for Itazura na Kiss will actually be aired in the anime, so I’m mildly curious to see that. Anyways, here we go with Itazura na Kiss episode 11.

Code Geass R2 Episode 10 Review

June 15th, 2008 | Category: Code Geass R2

Code Geass R2 episode 10 sticks us straight into the action as Lelouch is hightailing it after having crashed a wedding. Once again, we are faced with a plan that was proceeding smoothly when a wrench was thrown in the gears, by Xing Ke. Lelouch is starting to give himself a bad name by screwing up yet another one of his schemes. At least this way it’s believable that Lelouch is still at Ashford Academy. Btw wtf?

Soul Eater Episode 10 Review

June 14th, 2008 | Category: Soul Eater

Finding a subbed version of Soul Eater episode 10 actually took me a while. Don’t know why, it seems like a popular show. I haven’t heard anything about Soul Eater getting licensed, although that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been. Even if it did get licensed I’m surprised that would stop the half dozen or so groups that are subbing it.

Vampire Knight Episode 10 Review

June 11th, 2008 | Category: Vampire Knight

Remarkably quickly, Maria/Shizuka and her part as the primary antagonist is revealed. They didn’t really do that good of a job at concealing her identity in the first place; in truth, I don’t think they even tried. The entire sequence of events unfolding just felt very unevenly paced. Vampire Knight episode 10 really inducts the main antagonist to the story, and adds a twist to the plot by bringing in Ichiru, Zero’s brother.
