Itazura na Kiss Episode 6 Review
I am rapidly falling for Itazura na Kiss even though I feel like I shouldn’t. Largely my reluctance to admit to loving this show comes from the fact that it is ultimately a drama. Now I’m not saying that dramas can’t be good shows or entertainment, but thus far, nothing really really distinguishes Itazura na Kiss from everything else. No comments
Code Geass R2 Episode 6 Review
Most who have played direct competition games before have some sense of what it is like to lose, or be losing. You start getting frantic and start making stupid and desperate moves that are easy to for the opponent to see through and swat aside but you do it anyways in vain hopes that it will succeed anyways. This feels like what Zero has been doing for the last six episodes of Code Geass R2. Half of his plans have gone awry in some way or another, and often they’re partially seen through even before it is over. The only thing he has had reasonable success at is keeping his awakening as Zero a secret, and even that kitty may be out of the bag now. Maybe he should take up igo instead of chess. No comments
Soul Eater Episode 5 Review
So the shit is going down: Dr. Franken Stein vs. Soul and Maka. In a relationship you never expect perfect harmony. It just doesn’t happen. Sometimes you want to tug this way and he or she wants to pull another direction. It’s actually more normal for such tugging and tearing to occur than seamless monotony. You expect people to work out differences, but apparently all Maka needs is a pep talk from Soul. No comments
Vampire Knight Episode 5 Review
The entire feel of the Vampire Knight anime has a very gothic feel, which I rather appreciate. What I do not like is the porcelain doll face that each and every one of them seems to sport. Neither Zero nor Kaname really have expressions, in fact the only person in the anime that seems to consistently express emotions is Yuuki. Every single one of them are like freaking Aes Sedai or Aiel or something. No comments
Code Geass R2 Episode 5 Review
Ah poor Lelouch… he seems to be trying to juggle so many schemes that you wonder how he can manage it all. But Lelouch, being Lelouch, is somehow able to keep them all afloat, and even if he did drop one he would just geass you so you thought he gave a perfect performance. 4 comments
Itazura na Kiss Episode 5 Review
So super clutz Kotoko and super genius Naoki once again gather around to play, this time with friends! I really feel for Naoki when he gets pestered by the entirety of the F class into helping them study. I don’t think I would have done it. The truth of the matter is, many of them probably could have don reasonably well on their own if they had simply kept up with their studying throughout their school years. Their failure isn’t the system’s fault, or Fate, or Naoki. It is their own damn fault and I would laugh when they crashed and burned. Ok, so maybe I would have helped Kotoko, but not everyone else.

Soul Eater Episode 4 Review
Have you ever wondered how you would die? Personally I’ve always wanted a quick and painless exit to the blighted existence we know as life. I don’t know if getting a Statue of Liberty stuck through the forehead qualifies. It reminds me of the episode of Futurama where they crash land on a planet inhabited by giantesses ruled by a fembot. You know, the one where they make fun of women’s basketball and cheer at being executed through excessive boning with giant women. I asked myself this question then, and I ask myself now—How would I like to die? No comments
