Soul Eater Episode 8 Review
What do most children do when they majorly fuck something up? Take responsibility? Hellz no. They run to their daddy’s and have them take care of everything. Soul Eater episode 8 begins with an unnaturally long intro sequence when then terminates into in the opening sequence which then leads immediately into about a good 30 seconds of globs of blood floating in the air. 1 comment
Vampire Knight Episode 8 Review
I don’t know if all anime’s tend to get a little dull around 7-8th episode point. It certainly feels like that this season. It’s why I haven’t been bothering keeping up with posts. They’re simply not worth the time and effort to write a review for. Vampire Knight episode 8 doesn’t really add anything for the plot. It slightly introduces additional elements such as Ichijou’s gramps, and some chick at the end whom we’re left to presume will be problematic in the future. No comments
Code Geass R2 Episode 8 Review
I was actually wondering about the end of the opening where Zero and the Order of the Black Knights are all standing in front of a huge crowd of people that I assumed were Japanese. At least Code Geass R2 episode 8 explains that. In continuation of episode 7, Zero somehow manages to make everyone else as questioning as he was about who they are and where they stand, and so on. Soul Eater Episode 7 Review
Ok so I was duped, kind of. In Soul Eater episode 7 they finally reveal who I believe will be a real baddy. I thought Doc was, and he wasn’t, though I still think he has potential. And although this guy seems to display more promising villainy, I’m reluctant to call it. He may be one of those that turn from baddy to goody halfway through. Who knows? Those of you who read the manga, but you don’t count. No comments
Itazura na Kiss Episode 7 Review
You would think that Irie Naoki has learned not to try and get the better of Kotoko, not when she has such incredible dirt on him. Girlfriends being good friends with the mother never bodes well for the man. But in Itazura na Kiss episode 7, I’d say Naoki gave as good as he got. 2 comments
Kurenai Episode 7 Review
A very nice touch of Kurenai is that every so often there is a scene where the characters are talking over each other, usually two adults trying to have a real conversation while Murasaki is there bitching about something. I haven’t bothered reviewing too much of this show because here hasn’t really been too much worth reviewing. The setup is pretty ridiculous: Some illegitimate child of the Kuhōin; an orphaned high school student with a bone that can pop out of his arm; and a bunch of people who are all looking for or after the girl. Oh. That and she lives with the high school student. Bloody lawsuit waiting to happen. No comments
Code Geass Episode 7 Review
Code Geass R2 episode 7 hmm… I’m not really sure what to say. It is a period of deep introspection for Lelouch as he examines whether or not he wants to continue with his empire overthrowing, patricidal rebellion now that Nunnally is safe and sound and apparently in charge. 2 comments
Nabari no Ou Episode 6 Review
Nabari no Ou—I believe this will be the first time I have reviewed an episode from this series, so I’ll say this straight off, I really don’t see how anyone can enjoy this. You have one apathetic main character whose greatest charm is the way he plays gay to get what he wants; a boring side character who is the all around good guy that is useful in all the things the main character isn’t; a girl running around claiming to be a samurai, but we all know they needed a chick in the main cast line up and they wanted her to be swinging a sword; then finally there is the teacher/bodyguard who is supposed to be the “strongest” of the bunch that is essentially the primary firepower. This line up actually seems somewhat similar to another show that is wildly popular. No comments
Soul Eater Episode 6 Review
Soul Eater episode 6 really puts a few things in perspective. Kid is actually pretty badass despite the really lame neurotic gags that they constantly use him for. You really don’t see the family resemblance between him and the Grim Reaper. 3 comments
Kanokon Episode 6 Review
Here we have another week of the Put Out Foxy and Little Boy Chump. Kanokon episode 6 is just more of the usual. Foxy is trying to pop her cherry (I assume) and Kouta is trying hard to do the “right” thing. No comments
